KMix editor on hi-res display

Postby rholsen » Fri May 04, 2018 8:35 am

I'm having trouble using the editor on my Windows laptop. The resolution defaults to 3200x1800, and I usually use the "recommended" 250% scaling setting. Most apps look fine with this. The KMix editor though is pretty much unusable. I've attached a couple of images showing the default appearance. I've tried a few different resolutions and scalings, and I can get a little improvement, but there are still font problems, and the appearance of other programs suffers.

Has anyone else experienced this... better yet, has anyone found a decent work-around?

Thanks!

The K-Mix Editor does not play well with high DPI displays. We will be looking into fixing this in a future update.

Depending on the native resolution of your display you can generally get the Editor to work by adjusting your resolution and scaling options in the display settings.

Hi
Any news for an update about this display problem ?
I have the same problem.
i tried a lot of differents resolutions and scalling option and nothing works
i have the same result as Rholsen (but with a softstep editor)
i have 2 Softstep and i need to use a friend's computer if i want to tweak them :-(
Do you have a good work around or any other solution ?

The only solution is to adjust your screen resolution and other related display settings.
