Solutions for midi routing

Postby MoDrum » Thu Aug 09, 2018 11:49 pm

Hello everyone,

I have a question about routing midi signals in the BopPad:

How can I separate the 4 different pads? In the specific, when controlling a gate effect for example, I would like to map it so that I can control the effect with 3 pads and not with the 4th, in order to use only with a VST.

I hope I made it explaining what my problem is.

Any suggestion?

That's what MIDI channels are used for. Set three of the quadrants to one MIDI channel and the fourth to another. Or set 3 to all send the same CC to control the gate, and the fourth not to send that CC. There's a lot of different ways to separate MIDI messages.
