Side to side radius?

Postby lukesleepwalker » Thu Sep 13, 2018 3:50 am

I've been doing some cool stuff with the radius function on BP but I believe I'm constrained to the Y axis (inside to outside). Any chance we could use the X axis (side to side in quadrant) as well?

The radius is the distance from the center, and does not take into account whether you are going up and down (Y axis) or left to right (X axis).

You are not constrained to the Y axis, you are constrained to radius. We have no current plans to add X/Y axis sources into the firmware, but I can certainly add it as a feature request.

I would certainly second that if possible, an angle or degrees parameter would be super useful! Not exactly x/y like lukesleepwalker suggests but by combining radius with angle and some programming, one could turn polar coordinates to cartesian.
